Since 2006, Bethlehem Christian Academy had only been a dream in our hearts. The 2020-2021 was the first official school year of our school. And it was a blessing! Our leadership training and academic program are under the leadership for Pastor Joel Freire Costa.
We strive to teach students to live a life of excellence, just as God has determined for us. The Lord has called us to educate Christian leaders who will impact the world, by engaging in their spiritual calling in the church an in the world.
Bethlehem Christian Academy has established a Christian curriculum that focuses on seven Biblical principles and their benefits. With that, we can prepare our young students to be the next generation of great Christian leaders.

Do you know what it means to obey God? Well, it means following the wonderful teachings He left us in the Bible. When we obey, we show God that we love Him.
Curious, aren’t you? So let’s learn why it’s so important to obey God.
I want to start by telling you the story of Joseph, the boy who dreamed big. Let’s see if you remember: Joseph was the young man who received a colorful robe from his father. But his brothers became very angry and jealous of him. So they made a plan to kill Joseph. However, God did not allow them to kill their brother, so they sold Joseph instead.
See how sad the beginning of this story is. Yet Joseph, even facing the fury of his brothers against him, kept obeying God. Even being taken far away from his father and his whole family, he continued to obey God.
In the end, my little friend, God was so wonderful that from being a slave, God made him the governor of Egypt, blessing him in incredible ways!
So, my little friend, this kids’ devotional means that when we obey God and do it with joy in our hearts, it’s like following a map that leads us to wonderful places He has prepared. Obeying God is a way of saying, “I love You, God.” He guides us on the best path, and when we follow that path, we experience true joy.
